I fell in love with photography during one of the most transformative seasons of my life. While healing from past trauma, I made a decision: I wouldn't let the pain overshadow the beauty that still existed around me, and within me. Through the lens, I began to see the world in a new light, and in turn, it helped me see myself with more compassion and truth.
